"So you're saying you want me to be your girlfriend?"

"Fake girlfriend." He corrected.

"What would I get out of this? You're not exactly... 'boyfriend material'."

"Ouch..." He put his hand over his heart pretending he could feel my insult. "You'd get the pure satisfaction of knowing boys will leave you alone because you'd be mine. Girls would be jealous of you and no one would be able to touch you. And of course..." He reached across the table and grabbed my hand.

"You'd get me." He winked at me, got up out of his seat, threw a twenty on the table and left.
