Castiel Novak is in a tough situation. In his world society is on the journey of rebuilding itself after a war between heaven and hell not even a couple hundred years ago.
So, when people turn up with wings like angels or demons, they don't get too warm a welcome. Hunting became a high paying career after the announce of their presence.
Castiel knows all of this, but what he doesn't know is why these people started showing up, why the demon and angel like are so close if there was a war between heaven and hell, and why he suddenly sprouted wings that look like a mixture of both.
