Amanda sees things. Things that shouldn't belong in this world. No one believes a single word she says since she's labeled as the outcast wherever she goes. So when she happens to stumble upon a few demigods fighting against a monster she thought was imaginary, her whole world is flipped upside down.

After Apollo turned human, his laurel was immediately stolen from the halls of Olympus. Whoever wears the crown will become the next ruler of the sun regardless of mortal or Titan, which is too much to handle for the new mortal. With no one to turn to for help, Amanda is put on the spot to find the missing item and return it to its owner. The problem is, none of the campers can figure out who her godly parent is and the deities refuse to claim her. She doesn't exactly want to be tossed into a perilous quest without knowing either, but there seems to be no other choice.
