Brooklyn Carter isn't your average, perfect, clichè "good girl." She may be awkward, but anyone who tries to take advantage of that will soon realize she isn't the one to *ahem* fuc-dge with. Her backbone is definitely existent, thank you very much.
But advancing a grade ahead doesn't necessarily constitute one as a "bad girl," either.
Three years ago, 13-year-old Brooke abruptly left town after being bullied into a depression for reasons unbeknownst to her.
Now, 16-almost-17-year-old Brooke 2.0 is back from boarding school. And she won't take shit from anyone - not even her enemy-turned-crush-turned-frenemy of a neighbor, Vince. AKA Douchebag. Or Twatwaffle. Sometimes Asshole, depending on Brooke's mood.
