        Daireann or as her family calls her 'Rea' has been cursed ever since she became a woman. Rea is cursed with what the villagers call ' Thick Flesh'.  Starting from her ankle, puckered flesh resembling scales trails up her legs and marks her as a freak. 
        With her brother Iian gone, the only one who protected her from their evil Uncle, Rea is left to face the worst punishment. A slave to the Gods... up at the Monastery on top of the cliff. 
  

....Sheltered..... 

       Through the walls of the monastery is the thick mist of deprivation. The elder priests and the servants are cold and seem to have no personality outside the crumbling walls. No person ever sent to the monastery has ever came back.  They've either wasted away or jumped to their demise to the cruel and unforgiving seas below. 

The Seas..... 

         Kai had spent his life luxuriously for the past few centuries. Wars brought down ships into his deep and dark unsought underbelly of the sea which was his domain.  Kai claiming the riches in his dark twisted fashion. He, however, felt empty.... and so, so very lost.
          He the forgotten god who's selfishness lost the entire kingdom of the sea to his younger brother Kon. 
           Through his jealousy he claimed which was his brothers right. A human girl who'm his brother had set his sights on. A girl who watched the waves as she grew into womanhood. A girl which would change him in her dying breath.
