(this book isn't mine but I copy of Islam wep.) Worship in Islam The concept of worship in Islam differs from that found in other religions and is, therefore, subject to misunderstanding. In general, worship is understood to mean the observance of certain rituals: prayer, fasting, giving charity, and other 'good' works. In Islam, however, worship is much more; it is one's entire life. The definition goes something like this: "Worship is an all-inclusive term for those internal and external sayings and actions of a person that are pleasing to Allah." In other words, worship is that which is done in obedience to Allah's will, which obviously includes rituals but goes far beyond to the realms of one's beliefs, social activities, and personal contributions to one's society and fellow human beings. Islam looks at the individual as a whole. He is required to submit completely to Allah, as the Quran instructed Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wasallam to do; Allah Says (what means): "Say: 'Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims.'" [Quran: 6:162-163]

Doesn't matter its Heer, an ordinary girl living in some remote area of Pakistan or its the famous Shehryar Asif, the heartthrob of millions of girls today.... all have a heart and all have their own wounds in them, waiting for someone to be cured by. "The Cure To My Heart" revolves around Shehry and Heer; their lives, happiness and pain, how they face them, coop up with them..... first alone then together....... its the journey two strangers started together at two entirely different places. Its the story of two people becoming parents and getting in touched with an eternal bliss and grim at the same time. Sometimes two strangers... two completely different people get connected through an invisible string of emotions, invisible but strong... unbreakable. This book was written right after the 9/11 attacks that were staged in the two big cities of the United States of America in 2001 and it was explained with verses from the Qur'an, the practices of the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) and examples from Islamic history that Islam denounces terrorism. However, terrorist attacks continued after 9/11, and spread to other countries including Great Britain, Spain, Turkey and France. This prompted politicians, academicians, religious leaders and writers, in other words, all conscientious people all around the world, to look for solutions to terrorism, to understand its causes and to work out the steps that should be taken. When this book was first written in 2002, we explained with evidence that terrorists, and most importantly their leaders, are selfish, cruel and merciless people who, as a result of Darwinist and materialist education they received, see life as a constant struggle where only the fittest survive. Such people came to believe that violence and wars were justified means to their ends. Al Qaeda was very active at that time. Especially in recent years, many new terrorist organisations have emerged and they have used similar Islamic symbolism in their attacks against civilians. This deeply flawed understanding, which is diametrically opposed to Islam, a religion that favours peace over war, life over death, forgiveness over punishment, reconciliation over conflict, legitimizes violence against non-Muslims, and even against Muslims if they have different views or if they don't practice Islam or if they follow a different sect. Surely, this radical mentality is the biggest problem of the world today. Hopefully the money currently being squandered on weapons will be spent on education instead and they will join forces with illuminated, modern, loving and sensible Muslims.

Islam. Only one word, but more than twenty percent of the population. At least one fifth of this whole entire world is Muslim. But yet there are some who don't know anything about them, despite being a Muslim themselves. Among these people is an Afghan Muslim girl whose name is Amarah Sahar. She is seventeen years old, a senior in high school. She was born and raised in Canada with an Afghan background. Amarah has lived her life thinking that life is all about people not religion. She's never even wondered what the word Allah meant until she met the man who mistakenly changes her life. She wasn't snobby, she wasn't a girly-girl and neither was she a good girl. She was the most popular girl in school. She was lazy, immensely dense and had incredibly bad habits . But with that she was also funny, teasing and loud. No one ever saw her as a threat. She was an only child with parents that spent two-thirds of their life working and only one-third living with Amarah. They failed to educate Amarah and give her support. But when a 22 year old student teacher enters the school and sees Amarah's bad habits, he won't forget and neither will he forgive so easily for what she has done and what she continues doing. Out of all the people who cut her some slack, he isn't any of them. Will this Islam-loving, strict but sincere teacher ever show Amarah the true light of Islam?
