Arcade (#Wattys2015)

Aidan Domingo was a sheltered child. She preferred doodles and diaries over crushes and slumber parties. Her whole existence revolved around studying, doing house chores, and cooking, instead of hanging out, sleeping over, and socializing.

One day, she comes across an arcade game that catches her eye. For an entire week, it drives her crazy with curiosity. As she finally gives in to the push-button experience, a challenger of uncanny confidence--and deep-set dimples--breaks her victorious streak.

A/N: Arcade will span the length of Aidan's teenage life. So, don't worry. She won't be twelve forever.

It is set in the Philippines with cultural references to the said country. Allow me to transport you in Aidan's not-so-typical world, social backgrounds (of that time), and some use of the local language (with glossary, of course!).
