This is a story about a boy and a girl who, despite all odds, fell in love. Yeah, I know, cliché. But this isn't a happy story with "Once upon a time" and "they lived happily ever after," because these two most certainly did not live happily ever after. You know how in every classic fairytale there's a villain of epic proportions who kidnaps or curses the girl, fights the boy, laughs maniacally at odd moments, and eventually dies? That's definitely not this story.

His irises swirled slowly, an enticing pale silver against his stark black lashes. They illuminated slightly, so quick it was gone in a blink. He broke our eye contact, lifting his head straight.
