Megan is a thirteen year old suffering from child neglect. Her mother lives three thousand miles away and wants nothing to do with Megan. Her father is a workaholic who despises Megan because she looks like his ex-wife, AKA Megan's mother. Megan's father decides to get rid of her and make her life miserable. He doesn't want her to be happy if he can't be. He makes a plan to leave her on the doorstep of a random stranger, one who would hopefully hate her as much as Megan's father did.
