Samuel Grant Aranas does not believe in destiny. He just believes in diligence and perseverance. For him, diligence and perseverance will lead him to his fate. If he had not burned that midnight oil every night, he would not have gotten a high grade in class, he would not be where he is today.

When Gale died, a large part of his life also died in him. He just lives to breathe.

He wasn't destined to be with the one he loves but he was fated to live with someone he doesn't love. How could he love if he had already given his heart to one person, a long time ago.
