When Bree's best friend, Sierra, drags her to the Graham Norton show with Benedict Cumberbatch as the guest, where they've got front row seats, Sierra proceeds to embarrass Bree, prompting Benedict Cumberbatch to sit next to her and give her backstage passes. After that backstage meeting, the two stay in touch and become close. She's invited to The Hobbit cast party, and more.

Alex isn't even sure what he is doing here. Sure, he has just been dumped or something and Bea didn't want him to be alone, but it's not like he has any interest in being a part of the fun.
