Mute!Gabe x Sam

Gabriel Novak is Mute. He had been for as long as his family can remember, he's used to having them always around him and them being able to communicate with him in ways. But now Gabriel is starting collage and he has to leave his family behind.

Sam Winchester is going to collage, he has always liked learning but is very slow at it, sometimes he can have trouble learning new things but Sam is still very good at school. Sam wants to have a normal collage experience but he gets the exact opposite when he meets his roommate.

Gabriel and Sam meet and become close quickly, but how close can you possibly get with someone who has never spoken a word to you? Sam has always wondered why Gabriel became mute, but he never asked. But what if there's more to Gabriel and him being mute than just having anxiety.
