Leading up to his seventeenth birthday, Ethan Bennett lived quite an uneventful life, moving in between foster homes from his earliest memory. His small world takes an unexpected turn however when mysterious abilities begin emerging after an array of traumatic experiences. It's not long before he's made aware of the dark forces in close pursuit, the nature of his newfound powers making him an exposed target. After being taken in by a small hidden group of other gifted children, the secret of his destiny is slowly uncovered as one that is detrimental to the fate of the known world.
