Twenty year old, Evangeline Rolfe, was what most people would describe as, a dreamer. However, unlike most women Eva's age, she did not dream of the perfect husband, bearing darling children and spending her days inside. Safe and comforted.
No.
Instead, she fascinated about far off destinations, uncharted waters and the dangerous unknown. Yes, Evangeline was a dreamer; for a dreamer merely sits, attending to their responsibilities, and imagines of what life could be, would they have followed their dreams.
This is a story about how that changed for dear Eva. How she grew from a dreamer, into an explorer. Finding more than she had ever hoped, and, discovering the sensation of love along the way.
Join her as she battles forces of dark magic, dangerous monsters and matters of the heart. All the while, accompanied by an odd bird with a habit of stealing her- "Hey! Bellamy!" - dagger.

Evangeline is a young girl with a painful past which has left too many scars on her shoulders. Trying not to give up is hard, especially when she doesn't find the will to talk anymore. When fate takes her to the White mansion, she encounters a man who's set up to discover what she is hiding. However, the more he unravels her secrets, the more is Elijah White not willing to let Evangeline give up her life. *Excerpt* Watching her carefully, she darted her eyes in the room, looking for a way out because the door was behind me and she had to pass by me to reach it. I could see how her breathing became even more frantic and I cursed again under my breath, remembering now that I was standing before her, half naked, watching intensely a woman who was on verge of crying and screaming. I didn't even want to know how it would look like if someone else would come now in the room. My ego didn't miss the moment to show up and remind me that my body or my face didn't have the effect I wanted on this woman. Not even close. And the next second, I started to feel embarrassed. Very embarrassed. I didn't even know that I could ever use that word when referring to myself. I had to do something before this woman would faint right before me. Think about something, you idiot. If you were able to come up with this stupid plan, you should get out of it too. "I want you to help me put on a new shirt." Way to go, idiot. I couldn't think of something else but it didn't seem it worked because she eyed me suspiciously and now, I felt even more stupid. TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains strong language and mature themes of sexual abuse, drug use and death. These mature themes will be just mentioned a few times and I will distinctly outline those chapters. As mentioned, this book may contain sexual material but it will not be the main focus of the story. ****

Evangeline is an average 22-year-old. After her mysterious grandmother dies, leaving her and her parents a sizable fortune, she thinks that's the end of it. That is until she discovers her grandmother was secretly part of the British nobility, meaning her father is the lost heir. Nothing is easy, and nothing is simple. Trying to navigate the social dynamics is one thing, but throw in a prince, a publicity stunt and an unexpected love story, and Evie's life will never be the same. *I am Canadian, not British, sorry for any inconsistencies or anything, also this is obviously fictional*
