I also added other side characters here and there (for ex. an ancestor of the Malfoys) just for the flow. I know I did Imelda dirty here (I think she's great), but I needed someone to play the mean girl and she happily took the job. ☝️ Storyline-wise, this fic diverges early from the game and reimagines many events through a lighter, more character-driven lens. ⚠️ Trigger warning: there are no triggers. Unless you count excessive fluff, snarky banter, or slow emotional unraveling. Proceed with tea. 🌈 This fanfic is safe-for-work and non-mature. Y/N was starting over and wasn't getting any younger. She definitely had baggage and wanted to try something where nobody knew her, moving to Boston, and beginning her second act. In a weird way, your heart would ache whenever you saw Sebastian smile, or whenever you'd hear him laugh. His joy wasn't real. He was clearly confused but played it off with sly jokes and remarks. Whatever Ominis did most definitely worked, and so far, no real problems had occurred. However, this constant voice in the back of your mind likes to remind you of the potential for complications. You have betrayed Sebastian not once, but twice. If he were to ever find out the truth about his past, everything would go up in flames-possibly quite literally. ~ You and Ominis turned in Sebastian for his use of the Dark Arts during the events of Hogwarts Legacy, therefore sending him to Azkaban. During your final year (seventh) at Hogwarts, Sebastian manages to escape, setting his sights on the both of you. In a desperate attempt to save your life, Ominis uses the Memory Charm on Sebastian, wiping Azkaban, Anne and Solomon from his mind. ~ This has some romance elements (love triangle), but is primarily fantasy thriller!
