Albus Potter has had it. He doesn't want to be a hero. He wants to be a normal schoolboy like his brother, James. And yet as luck would have it, he didn't. Due to his years of poor grades, he has to take another class. A choice is given and so, in hopes of getting better grades, he chooses Basic Muggle Studies which throws his life into turmoil. His teacher seemed like an ordinary guy (or wizard) until one day when headmistress McGonagall herself was scared of the teacher, Albus and Scorpius get suspicious and try to understand who the brilliant professor really is. Albus' whole world gets thrown into chaos as new enemies are revealed and, when the core of humanity is threatened, Albus must figure the real reason for the Teacher's presence and choose to save his own life... or his friends.

A dancing pair of fluttery pink fairy wings. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Lily Luna Potter, because she never took them off. An angel of innocence, she pranced around Hogwarts as if everyone loved her, making good marks and smiling at everyone she saw. It was all a mask, of course, and it chafed at her, making her feel pressured and overly bubbly, like a bottle of butterbeer being shaken. The Next Generation
This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died. Pansy Parkinson's son always seems to get in the way. Lucius Malfoy has never been more evil. I've worked extremely hard on this story, so I hope you read it. Enjoy!
