Alyx Seamoon, the 19th mermaid princess in their mermaid kingdom, wishes to be a human and became normal. Dahil sa kakulitan niya ay napadpad siya sa mundo ng mga tao, at nakilala niya pa si Blaize Lennon; isang sikat sa school nila at ang heartrob sa campus. Because of this girls envy Alyx because of her closeness with Blaize.
