A random old lady approaches Hezekiah Hawk saying that he is not any random wanderer as he claimed to be, but someone who was brought to those hills of south India by some supernatural force. But, he opposes.

Knowing details many, he is set out in solving the supernatural paranormal paradoxes of the hills.

Why can no one Open the Door? What would happen if it is opened? etc are some of the mysterious questions that would haunt any reader as zie proceeds through the book with shocking revelations of relations between the firstly-strange-to-each-other characters.
