Xaxac Brigaddon and the Knights of Order

The land of Uril is suffering under the reign of tyrannical queen and a monstrous creature under her control that rumors have dubbed "The Emerald Knight". This creature has been ravaging the land, attacking civilians and raiding sacred temples, killing anyone and anything that gets in his way and stealing sacred artifacts. A small band of warriors called "The Knights of Order" have risen against the chaos, and hope to dethrone the queen and avenge the people who have fallen to her Knight.

Xaxac OfAgalon had no intention to join the Knights; he wasn't even aware of their existence. He's been enslaved his entire life, doing hard labor until his talent in the bedroom is discovered. He manages to carve out a life as a 'pleasure slave' until the wrong customer changes the course of his life, and he's forced into combat. He experiences life under Xandra's cruelty firsthand when he's thrust into the brutal world of cage fighting, where slaves are forced to fight to the death for the amusement of the nobility. The only reason Xac is able to survive such a harsh environment at all is because of the secret he has up his sleeve: he's a shifter.

The ability to shift into an animal form is so rare that it has become legend. It is considered by many a curse, and shifters are often killed on sight, out of fear that they will give in to their animistic urges and maul people to death. Xac is a little luckier than most when it comes to this discrimination. It turns out that people just aren't afraid of rabbits.
