The ones that reach toward the Light never seem to die but those who reach toward the Darkness never seem to live. Back when the universe was forming, the planet, Hala's, life forms have a civil war. This is your everyday good verses evil, civil war. Their beliefs clash and rub against each other. So why when a child is born, they put that all on pause just to get this one child. The child will determine the outcome of the war. With the child whisked off into the universe, how far will the Halapistorians go to get the child on their side?
Rory Green is oblivious to what is happening on her home planet. All she knows is that her parents weren't good enough to take care of her so she was adopted. Rory is your average teen. Well almost average, being 6'0 and having Snow White pale skin can make you stand out of the crowd. All she is praying for is to get through high school in one piece. It's not like Rory is a nerd but it's not like she's popular either. She's just, there. So when her powers start to awaken, the Halapistorians are able to locate their key. Accidents start to occur and the new mysterious boy starts protecting her in her desperate situations. When things get out of hand Rory must flea. Upon trying the leave, Rory is whisked away by the mysterious new boy, who is kind of hot, and claims to be from her planet. With Rory on the run, she must choose what is right for her kind. Choose the Darkness or the Light?
