I ran as fast as I could getting away from the terrifying being that was chasing me. It snarled as it got closer. 

I heard a deep chuckle from the thing that wasn't quite human. I turned a sharp corner, trying to lose it. 

It was too fast for my legs. I saw a flash of black wings and I screamed as it ran into me. "Thought you could get away from me that easily hmm?" he asked with a menacing grin.
