Jenna feels caught in the middle when she befriends a rival squad at school. Will Jenna be able to convince Naisy and Rachel that her new friends aren't that bad?
Naisy's grades are slipping because her concentration is broken due to the hot student teacher. If she can't get at least a B, her hippie parents won't let her attend the big Halloween Dance next month.
Rachel is upset when she thinks that two girls are making fun of her. She gets more upset when she realizes that a close friend is in on it.
Kimmy is tired of all the drama because it is tearing the friend group apart. Can she find a way to make peace again?

Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. "Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. "Who do you think you are? You are just some nerd." He sneered at me, looking down at me like he already owned this place. I chuckled at his ignorance, "Honey, I'm the nerd who rules the school." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You know those cliché stories where it is either 'player and nerd', 'bad boy and nerd', 'bad girl and nerd', 'bad girl and bad boy' etc. What do all those have in common? Well, there's always a nerd that's weak and bullied. That's either the damsel in distress or she suddenly turns badass. But sorry to say, my story is completely different. People fear me, no one dares to bully me, even the cheerleaders and our school's star quarterback bow down to me. Oh you think I'm the 'bad girl'? Sorry, but I'm the nerd who rules the school. If you were gonna tell me that I talked back to the principal infront of the whole school, I would have scoffed. If you were gonna tell me that I had to raise $50, 000 with 7 of the most unusual people at school, I would have laughed. If you were going to tell that by the end I would be friends with them and find love...I would say... "Well this is going to be One Awkward Year." * . * . * Claire Silva, a seventeen year old girl who doesn't like attention at school to avoid unnecessary drama. When she makes a big mistake at a school assembly, things are about to get awkward for her. She makes friends, goes through every day teenage life while raising $50,000 with her twin brother, a badass jock, a cheerleader, a cutie, a nerd, the unknown nerd and the schools bad girl... But who knew one mistake could bring 8 people together, in a way none of them could have imagined?Complete

They support her on each step she takes; bad or good. But, do they all have secrets? Maybe they do? Maybe they don't? Maybe you just have to find out! ~~~~ It's been about 10 years since I wrote this story. I have NO idea what my thought process was. After re-reading and editing it, I've come to the conclusion that this is the craziest story I've ever read. If you like cliché, you'll like this story.
