Margaret Dashwood, sister to Marianne and Elinor, is eighteen and as headstrong and flirtatious as her wild auburn curls. It's winter in the English countryside, and since the sucessful marriages of her sisters and her own introduction to proper society, Margaret can hardly wait to be in the very middle of the gay parties, balls, and dances among the wealthiest of the best families. There's the handsome Winston Steele - the yougest brother of the former Lucy Steele- a dashing naval officer whom everyone believes to be Margaret's best match, James Marching, the little-boy-turned-man who occupied the best of her childhood memories, and Nielson Meadows, a mysterious and charming newcomer to Devonshire to who Margaret finds herself drawn to. As the winter season unfolds, a whirlwind of news, revelations, feelings, and scandal cause the state of the smallest Dashwood's marital hand to become a greater unsolved puzzle - even to her.

[COMPLETE] A comprehensive guide on how to turn the good guys bad. Canon divergent, slow burn, mutual pining, idiots in love. ~x~ Aurélie Collins wishes she were invisible. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts to appear normal, there are a great many unusual things about the red-haired girl from France: she's the only transfer student Hogwarts has seen in recent memory, she has an absolutely abysmal sense of direction, and - though she desperately wishes she couldn't - she can wield an ancient and highly unstable form of rare magic. When tragedy rips her from her life of opulence at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Aurélie is unceremoniously thrust into the freezing cold Scottish Highlands to finish her final year at Hogwarts, where the castle's floor plan is impossible to navigate, obsession with gossip runs prevalent among the student body, and it's freezing bloody cold - all the time. Worse still, she finds herself unable to escape the unwavering attention of Sebastian Sallow. Tall, handsome and infuriatingly arrogant, the Slytherin Quidditch captain is convinced he's the greatest thing to ever walk the halls of Hogwarts, is best friends with a Gaunt, and, to Aurélie's endless irritation, does not want to let her out of his sight. Ever. But when the horrors of her past threaten to catch up with her, Aurélie must make a choice: tap into the magical abilities she's tried so hard to suppress and put her trust in the very same Slytherin boy who won't stop antagonising her, or spend her life running and hiding from those who tore her life apart in France. Will she step into the power she was born to wield to protect herself and those she loves? And will Sebastian Sallow prove himself to be more of an ally than she could have ever imagined?
