According to Plato's Symposium, Greek myths used to say that there were three different genders; male, female, and a combination of the two. Fearing the power they possessed, Zeus, God of the sky, cut the combinations apart into separate male and female counterparts. These counterparts were then forced to live with a hopeless longing for their other half, stuck in a seemingly endless search for their soul mate. There is a shred hope, however, for these separated beings, for each of them has a special pattern etched like a scar into the palm of their hand, signifying the place where their skin was cut away from the others. Each pattern differs, much like a person's fingerprints. In this world where two halves must work to become one, Desirae is faced with the task of finding her own other half, balancing trials of her heart and tribulations of her mind on her epic journey of other self-discovery.

Some she deems worthy of her love and affection, others she deems to doomed to Tartarus. The gods think differently though. Some think of her story as sad and a tragedy. Others find her power and choose to use it for their gain. For it is one they have never seen before, and one that can conquer the world. Chapters change POV, every part. I had a crazy dream last night. There were these monsters.. Some sort of hudge cow or something that took me away form my parents and siblings. I heard a window break and i heard people scream for help. Now im awake in a room i have never seen before. There were other people in the room, who all got their wounds and other injuries treated. I don't see very clear but i see someone in a bright orange shirt walking up to me. ''Ugh..'' i finally got out of my mouth. What if you are the son / daughter of gods and you are now in a summercamp with children of gods. William, arrives at camp and meets his new friends; Lucas, Alexia, Colin and Diana. But, after a hudge incident that happened at camp, the friends need to leave camp and flee. Friendships will form or get destroyed and love will form. This book is Percy Jackson INSPIRED, so there will be no actual Percy Jackson characters in the book exept for the gods. Have fun reading A New Halfblood! I hope you will enjoy it!Complete

What would you do if, after getting drunk in a party and passing out somewhere you don't remember, you woke up in a cart that is pulled by a horse with two people speaking weird language and wearing white sheets over their bodies? You panic, obviously. Era never believed in Gods and magic. Why? Because it wasn't explained by scientists. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen.
