A alternate-history fanfic based on two brilliant minds (and infamous cyber criminals) of the Internet age. Names have been changed to make it less weird. Eddie Banks unexpectedly meets his hero, Alex Sears. Each tormented by weighty thoughts, neither of them realizes that the other is on the threshold of a life-changing decision. But this chance meeting is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship. A cute M/M (b)romance with some kissing. Some serious themes near the beginning, but it gets lighter as it goes on.

Everyone knows Alex Anderson. Billionaire. Chairman. A man who was born with everything-money, power, and a last name that keeps him untouchable. He plays with businesses the way he plays with women-recklessly, selfishly, and without consequences. He doesn't chase. He takes. And when he's done, he throws them away. Ella Davis has spent years working her ass off to get ahead in a world run by men like him. She's smart, disciplined, and refuses to be another forgettable name in his collection. But when she's forced to work directly under Alex, she sees the cracks beneath his perfect, polished image. He's spoiled. Impulsive. Too used to getting what he wants. He thinks she'll be just another name on his list. Another woman wrapped around his finger, hanging onto every word, falling for every calculated move. But Ella isn't so easily played. The real question isn't whether he'll break her-it's whether she'll be the first to break him.
