A boy lives in a village, but he's not an ordinary boy. His name is Jade. Everyone in the village call him either by that name, or Prince Williamson. I know, I may have confused you already, but that is a point. I have confused you to get you more and more interested in this story, and you get more and more curious of what is to come with this book. You don't know anything about this yet, except a boy named Jade, but everyone calls him Prince Williamson. Why? It could be possible this boy has requested everyone to call him by his nickname, Jade, and that his real name is Williamson, and he lives in a castle on top of a hill, overlooking the village, where he spots a young girl around his age, whose name is Amber. They have similar names, do not ask how, but they do. That must confuse you even more, which draws you back into this book. Ah, I have confused you to the max. First the name, second about the similar names, and now, the book. I have not started it yet, and you have yet to read it, and I have hours ahead of me writing this. I shall tell you no more, so we may get on with this silly one-way conversation.
It all starts,
now.
A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places.
*****
Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld. There she stays until she learns that her leaving has caused the world to wilt. But leaving behind her newfound friends and Lady of the Underworld is something she will not do willingly, no matter the consequences.
