For a girl living in the zombie apocalypse, Ava Anderson is pretty badass. She's a killer hunter, can shoot a zombie in the head with a crossbow from 50 feet away, and to top that off, she's the only girl in her group of survivors. There's only two things the girl can't stand: thinking about her brother Aiden and his gruesome death, and his unfortunately-still-living asshole of a best friend, Alex. Smug, narcissistic, and arrogant, he seems to be content on making Ava's life a living hell, even without the zombies. But what happens when Ava finds herself falling for the unexpected? And what if all this time Alex has felt the same?
