Giuseppani Taylor went through something no teenager should ever have to, a school shooting. In her small, private school everyone died, everyone but her and she has no reason why. Months later she is sent to public school with the hope that she can make it. Dakota Anderson is a new teacher at Lincoln High who has come to help his parents after his sister is killed in a school shooting. After Giuseppani comes to his class he can't help but feel animosity towards the lone survivor. However, what Dakota did not expect was to feel a connection with her.
