You reached out for him. Your small hand gripped the soft texture of his uniform. He turned his head downwards to look at you, his blue eyes flashing.
"Armitage, Armitage," you said, lips trembling. "I'm so frightened."
He turned towards you completely, taking one hand in his and cupping your face with the other. "You are enchanting," he said.
And once more, you were drawn to him.
...
In the middle of the war, there is lull. You are helplessly waiting for your fiance, Prince Ben Organa, to return home from the war. In the meantime, you and your cousin, Rey, are sent to Takodana to live with your godmother, Maz.
It is torture to wait. Tormented by the fear of not fitting in with his family, as well as the fear of never seeing him again, you are thrown into a mess of feelings. In the midst of your pain, you find yourself in the eyes of General Armitage Hux, and in the middle of trouble.
Meanwhile, Poe Dameron has his own string of problems. A miserable, lonely, foolish man, kind and noble, but drunk and tormented. He spends his nights either drinking away his sorrows or piloting across the galaxy.
If fate was fair, it would bring you to him.
