Lillian never had the best childhood when she was growing up. Her father died shortly before she was born and her mother died in child birth. As a result, Lillian was adopted by a family that turned out to be quite abusive towards her and the two other children in their care.

When Lillian was 4 and the other two were 3, she ran away with them, not wanting them the have to deal with that situation anymore. They lived on the streets for a year, begging for food or stealing when they has too. 

One day when the kids were earning money thanks to their skills when something happened to all three of them which resulted in them finding out that they were able to use magic. 

What magic did they possess? How did they learn to control it? And how did they end up in Fairy Tail?

I took those souls with me on my adventures and eased their loneliness and age with my contagious eagerness to believe anything. And then a terrible thing happened to me, so terrible I could not speak of it. I was in hospital, unable to believe anymore and my old friends came to visit me and to believe for me. I am 30 now, and as I write this and look back I wonder if I still believe. And yes, I do. Believing got me through that summer and believing got my father to come home again.

Two girls going to Ensorcell school of magic learn to navigate the world together. They have to deal with accusations of theft and are forced solve a mystery. They will have to try to survive more than just their bully. "Flyers," Ms. Puffins voice boomed "leave the area, but do not come down. Fly to the school immediately." Confused, all the flyers approached the border slowly. They're high up in the air and slowly peeked their heads outside. Everyone is screaming and running, the chairs are turned over and smashed along with the binoculars. The students saw pterodactyl like creatures running around. They were reptiles with red eyes, short arms, and long swishing tails. They are only slightly taller than a 7-year-old child, but much stronger. They picked up chairs and smashing them. Teachers ran out of the school to help while students were running towards the school. Parents of the flyers hung back to make sure their kids are ok. All 40 or so flyers flew towards the school as fast as they could. They tried to fly near their parents but were all ordered to get to the school immediately.

Just as it appears no one survived, the experiments were the only ones that survived. Now free, they dispersed throughout the land acting like the animals that they were given. One of the children who was the main subject for obtaining Zinogre's powers fled for his life not wanting to be captured ever again. The master of Fairy Tail, Makarov, was returning from a Guild Meeting when he ran into the boy. He acted rather hostile to him as Makarov saw that he was nothing more than a frightened child, not knowing who to trust.
