Aurora Starfire, a female raccoon (like Rocket) has been living with the gang for quite some time and has grown close friendships with all of them. But one in particular seems to always cross into her thoughts and mind even when he isn't present in the room with her. Eventually, Aurora and Rocket admit their deepened feelings for one another. But will he and the rest of the Guardians be enough to protect  Aurora from dangers of her past who threaten her very existence? Especially when the truth about the death of her mother that has been kept from her since her kithood (proper term for a baby raccoon) is revealed to her and also why many enemies of her's want her dead. Will she and Rocket ever get the chance to enjoy life together? Or will she end up dead before it can truly happen?

My mother and me weren't human my father was but me and my mother were a rare bird called a Phoenix. My mother also decided to name me after my own species so that's that I guess. Then as more time went by My Mother caught a rare Phoenix disease and since there were no other Phoenix's no one could help her and I didn't know what to do since I was only 5 at the time. Then sadly my mother had passed away just leaving me with no family at all. So I then decided to have a new life and a new home far away from here. Although would have to learn all my abilities like teleportation, Shapeshifting, illusion's, Invisibility, Fire bending and most importantly Sand Dancing. Sand Dancing included a type of stone and you would do a specific dance to control the sand. After learning all my abilities along with Sand dancing and flying I finally decided to leave this place. I was now at least 13 years old so let's just say some time has passed. I then decided to teleport to the further parts of the galaxy. In that part a lot of things worked differently so I would have to do things I've never done before. Then there I met a Raccoon and some odd plant guy. Will this Raccoon and this plant guy be friends with Phoenix or will they turn her in for some credits read to fine out.
