Percy has no idea what is going on -- but then again, that's not really a surprise. There's these boys who call themselves the 'Gladers.' Stuck in a maze full of flesh-eating robot spiders, it would be pretty good to actually know what the heck is going on. But he remembers only Annabeth -- her name and nothing more. Annabeth is lost. She can sense she doesn't fit in with the girls who find her in the Box. They took her in -- they're like family. But she knows one thing. She needs to get back to Percy, well, whoever he is. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time.
