In a dystopian society, Scarlet is a rogue ex-soldier. She escaped the government and their horrible ways and traveled across the country to reach the haven for criminals. New Orleans, year 2382. The world was destroyed by nuclear warfare, the US handing out the most damage, and receiving the least radiation. Even so, the effects of radioactive materials caused horrible mutations in the citizens, giving them access to abilities they wouldn't have otherwise had. In this story, our heroine is being hunted by several organizations, and only one person really has her back. This world of superhumans spares no pity for a criminal, and Scarlet happens to be on the wrong end of the knife.
