Most of these are written while listening to the Band of Brothers Soundtrack. Which is beautiful and haunting and FEELS. (*whispers* go watch it...)

Perfect- A woman visits her neighbors house. Finding Peace- A man's final minutes. On the Theory of Rain and Mars- A girls dreams and her life on Mars. Memories of Snow-A girl's memories of someone close to her. A Story-A woman finds something of her mother's that rises many questions. To Be A Conductor-I sometimes wonder what it's like to be a conductor... The Little Book- A girl finds a little book in a coffee shop. Glitter!- A man finds an old friend at his door.

Here are short stories (really short ones) that I wrote years back. I won't say when I was younger, because it was only three/two years back. However some are very recent. So like say the title don't judge me. Please excuse any grammatical errors, English is not my first language. (I speak French, but I am fluent in English). Hope you enjoy! A collection of my ideas. While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. I'll also post short stories that I may or may not try turning into novels. From "The Kid is Hot Tonight," a story about such topics as high school parties and domestic abuse. To "Just Another Nightmare," a story about a kind of hell you might never have thought of. This collection will likely make you question if something is wrong with me. Spoiler alert; there is. It will also show you the farthest reaches of the world and the furthest horrors that I can write about. If you want an update on how the next story is coming along, you can ask me however you want. Seriously I'm so so lonely...

I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. For readers: * I do my best to proofread before publishing, but some typos and errors will slip through. Also, I may or may not do the 2024 ones too >:). oh yeah, also I guess these counts as one-shots. also TW on each prompt, nothing too scary (probably) also, except major difference to @JacarandaAxolotl477's Monster Month, I am doing 2023 AND 2024 (NOT) mostly daily because I am insane. I'd like it to be noted that I began this about September, on a Saturday, at an ungodly hour when I decided to be ambitious. Past me did not plan to keep going through with this into February (nearly March)

Several of them are plain-old non-fiction. Can you guess which ones? The rest of them tell the real-life story, but from a different branch of the alternate-Universe tree. Examples of ways in which reality has branched: What if my Dad went pro as an Opera singer? What if I only had a couple of siblings, rather than six of them? What if I didn't move to New York, but instead stayed with Boston Ballet Company? What if my first boyfriend had been older than me instead of younger than me?
