This is NoT your typical bad boy falls for bad girl book though it does include plenty of drama and a whole load of tragedy!
Elizabeth Stallard is 17- young, confident and self assured but she's bored. She's mischievous, a bit of a dare-devil and has to die for hair but all she really craves is adventure. Is that all too much to ask for? After all, every single female heroine ever, always had a story, always does something life changing- doesn't she deserve her chance? She wishes something would happen besides her monotonous and frankly, depressing life but what will her response be when everything starts to happen at once?
James Tarroway wasn't exactly a bad-boy, he just likes to flirt (and a little more) and win fights as well as having a general dislike for authority. But he doesn't class himself as a trouble-maker even when he's forced to move to Grenwall (a tiny Welsh village in the middle of nowhere) due to his behaviour. He's depressed, moody and rude. Then he meets Jake and works on Jake's Grandpa's farm, will the stark contrast of the carefree Stallard barns and the tragedies surrounding its inhabitants shock James into paying more attention? At least if not for himself, for people he finally truly cares about...
