I was just a pure human, I lived in the city with my mother. We had money to help take care of ourselves since my father died. My mother was lonely at times until she met this gorgeous guy. And on top of that, my so called step brother was an alpha of their pack and I was his mate. But to top it off, my bff that I was dating is the enemy of my step brother, he was a vampire and hid it well from me. I forced myself to break up with him after he started acting weird. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it.
