17 year old Clay Jensen arrives home to find a set of outdated tapes on the porch one day from an anonymous source and on these tapes they reveal  13 reasons why Hannah Baker took her own life that day, and for some reason not only is Clay on them but his 14 year old sister Lauren is on them too.
