Average, 17 year old gamer geek Zachary Spade is chosen by Astro Vision Industries to be one of the one thousand players to be able to play their new "life changing" virtual reality game, Timelines. He decides to try it out but is in for a shock when he figures out that the game traps its players inside and it's really just an experiment to see if video games can teach real life everyday/combat skills by having them fight one another at their own will, however, if someone dies in the game, they'll go into an endless comatose where they only dream of their death in the game. There is hope for escape in this dreadful game, however, only 20 players are allowed to leave the game, but only once they've completed the unusual yet lengthy campaign. Will he be one of the lucky few to survive and beat the game, or will he suffer from a virtual fate?
