Charlie is a junior in high school. She is one of the girls who doesn't have many friends but is pretty ok with life. She still wishes that she could do more than just sit at home all day though. Her dreams finally start to come true when the new guy, Adam, starts coming to school. Charlie is partnered up with him on an astronomy project and learns a whole lot about him. Eventually she finds out that his major dream is to start a rock and roll band and she doesn't know what to think anymore. They begin to fall in love but one thing is stopping them. Another girl really likes him and she happens to be "best friends" with Charlie. Will everything work out?
