Nimsandi is 17 and princess who has lost what is most dear to her. Her grandma, who is her everything. Her parents died a few years ago and though she was not extremely close to them, she feels the loss. Her brother is the current emperor along with the empress, his wife.
Khalid is 23 and is the prince of his land. He will be crowned emperor once he marries and his parents pass down their title. Khalid was raised by his parents and is thus family oriented, kind and just. He believes in fairness above all.
Nimsandi's land is currently unstable and so she is to be married to Khalid and go to a land so far from home. Her marriage will save the kingdom but what about her own heart. Will she get to fulfill her grandma's last wish or will she close herself off in order to not get anymore hurt than she already is.
