The Shield Maiden [COMING SOON]

Eir Ingolfsson is the first shield maiden in a thousand years. Trained by Brynhildr herself, Eir holds the shifting power of the Icelands in her hands. With the opportunity to crown the next ruler in her hands, Eir has one of the most prominent warlords at her doorstep: Jónas Hilmarsson. But after turning him away, Eir no longer has his affection, but instead his rage.

With Jónas and his army breathing down her neck, Eir flees to the castle of Jakob Agnarsson, the other prominent warlord. But little does she know, Eir has just started a war. Only, instead of alienating her from the head of the house and his army, she ignites their eternal support. For years they had been at a stalemate with Jónas' army. Now, with the Shield Maiden leading them, they believe they can win.

But it won't be easy. Jónas' army is vast, and they have surrounded the outnumbered forces; they're plan is to suffocate the smaller army. There will be blood; there will be chaos; there will be a victor; and there will be a loser.
