Have you ever been in love with your best friend? Well, I certainly have. I'm the girl from the wrong side of the tracks. The girl who is an illegitimate child. The girl who is a bastard child. In other words, my mom was a club bunny. The girl who could be anyone's child. When I was just a few months old, she left her old life and started a new one in a new town. My mother met an incredible man. A biker. He had his own son who was a little over a year old. We grew up like siblings. He was my father in my eyes. Events happened that made me leave town at 17. I never thought I would come back to this town after I left almost 6 years ago. But, here I am with my almost 5 year old daughter and son. I thought I could hide the truth. I thought he would never find out. But, hey! When you're in a small town, people talk. And so they did. My son is a spitting image of their father. So, when he came barging through my bar and walking out the back door towards my house. I couldn't hide it anymore. Our children were out in the yard playing for fuck's sake. "Is it true?" "Is what true?" "They're mine aren't they?" "I don't know what you're talking about." "He fucking looks like me McKenzie!" "I..." Tears began to fall from my eyes like the raining falling out the sky. There's no point in lying and trying to hide it anymore. "Were you ever going to tell me?" "No." He turned on his heels and stormed off towards his Harley FXDR 114. He never looked back. And I never blamed him. How could I? I destroyed the man I loved since we were children once again. I slumped to the ground in defeat. Tears falling freely down my face. I felt little hands wipe my tears on my stained cheeks. "It's okay mommy. I caught your raindrops." " I lunge forward at him hitting his groin with my knee then right between the eyes. As soon as I do, he crashes to the ground, out cold. I go for more, but a pair of arms snatch my waist lifting me up. I kick my legs and flail my arms to get closer but he is too strong. "Let go of me!" I demand. "Shut up." A low strong voice commands."Is he okay?" "He is fine." I grunt. Then the young adult wakes up, then scurries back away from me. "Sorry ma'- miss... " he says, making me angry again. I give him a cold stare. "I'm sorry." He repeats, standing to his feet. "Put. Me. Down." I demand again. With a huff he puts me down. I step forward with full intentions to punch him again but the man behind me takes my arm, holding me back. I jerk forward to get off his grip but he takes my other arm tightly. "Alright! I'm done! I'm done!" I huff in defeat. " This story follows Astrid, a 26 year old female who ran away from home 10 years ago. The only reason she has come back was to get away from the hole she dug her self into. She is running away from her problems again. "There's a beginning to every story. There's an end to every beginning. This is how my story begins and ends." -Kate "These a soul out there that's meant for me. I just haven't came across it yet." -Bear My story doesn't the fairytale start however in the mist of everything; it has the fairytale ending. The princess who gets her Prince Charming. Or in my case, the VP of Creed MC, he's not a Prince Charming but he's Royalty to his club. How we met was by accident but I call it fate. Outsiders would be scared of such a brute, I wasn't one of them. When I moved here from Ashby with my daughter, I hadn't expected to catch the eyes of another VP. I promised to stay clear from any members of any clubs. I wouldn't risk my heart to be shattered by any outlaw criminal again. My luck, they'd be exactly like Viper and if they were... I would never recover. I made plenty of mistakes to get me to where I am today. But with those mistakes, I wouldn't ask for a redo. I wouldn't have McKenzie. I wouldn't be married to my savior. We wouldn't have our children, if I had asked for a redo in life. Having Mac was a miracle but falling for Bear was a blessing in disguise. He had his own son almost the same age as Mac. Our love wasn't off the bat, it was a slow pace. It took him months on top of months to get me to agree to one date. That one date turned into another, turned into two more, which turned into dating. Before Bear, there was many of mistakes. I was trying to fix the mistakes me mother created before she passed. My mother was a prostitute for the Viper's MC. She had sex with any of the member and thus is how I came about. I never knew who my father was, not that I cared. I tried to go down a different path but any path I chose when straight to the Viper's MC clubhouse. My story will be a rocky rollercoaster one that ends up in a happy ending. You'll laugh, smile, and cry. You have been warned.
