Natsumi Mizushima is a cheerful light-teal haired girl who loves to swim. Her family is rich who often gets threats and ransoms. But one day, an incident happened that drastically changed her. She became cold, not the same as the old one. She still swims but this girl is not free anymore, she's chained deep in the ocean. She almost quits swimming but her parent's dream to become the greatest swimmers is what keeps her going.

When she transferred to Iwatobi High school, she meets the swim club. Will they be able to break Natsumi's chains, make her free and love swimming again? Will they be able to change her back into the cheerful girl she used to be?
