On a warm morning in the 1850's, Evangeline relaxes in her massive Missourian estate without a worry in the world. Evangeline's day collapses as her twin brother and father burst into the living room, chasing after the "family friend" because she did not fulfill her morning jobs, revealing the friend's true role in the house: a slave; brought into the Freebourne's family estate as their property. 

The event forever altered Evangeline's view on both the idea of slavery and her family, provoking her to run away with Jewel, and instead of the warm feeling of compassion toward her father and brother, a newer, colder perception emerged: hate. Although she still deeply cared for her flesh and blood, her feelings competed as she abhorred her family's principles. Her hate for her brother's Confederate opinions and her will to fight for freedom for all could drive her to take the lives of those opposed to her -including her twin brother- but does that really make Evangeline a killer?

Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber. To this very day, Eve still wonders what happened to her golden tiger.

I was frozen, she was heaving and she fell from the bed onto her knees. She crawled to the corner of the room, in between the wall and the dresser. Her red shirt rubbing against the green walls of the bedroom. Her shoulder grazed the beige dresser, making scratches on her arms and she didn't care. I looked down at the ring sitting on my foot, to my Evangeline. My mouth hung open but I couldn't say anything, the only noise in the room was the scraping of Evangeline's shoulder and the little giggles escaping the cot. When she views an expensive ring in a jewelry store, a guy pulls up in a blood-red car. She has no knowledge of who he is until she sees him snatch a bracelet. She tries to turn him in but he kidnaps her, and when she attempts to escape he lets her go but with an offer. He offers to mentor her in becoming a young criminal. The next day she discovers a mysterious channel on her TV. She starts watching it and soon realizes it's a news channel for criminals. She shows the channel to her best friend assuming nothing will go wrong, but her best friend threatens to turn the channel into the police. Ever since she saw the ring, met the man, discovered the channel, she knows what she has to do. She feels it inside of her, she has to commit a crime to satisfy something deep within her. If she decides to do this, she knows she can never look back. Will she find a dark passion she had deep inside her, or will she get in huge trouble with the law?

From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least.
