Adina has a problem. It's not the constant bullying at school. Or the constant abuse of pills. No. She has a problem with herself. On top of that, her mother moved them out of Arizona back to her birth place Atlanta to be closer to distant family. She hasn't been here since she was a child but now that she's back she can feel herself suffering more. What awaits her is way more than she can handle.

Jahseh Scott is a troubled boy that crosses the path of Adina. He seems to be walking hand in hand with death himself. He sees something in Adina he's not sure if he wants to protect her or screw her head up even more.

Intrigued by the strange people from her new memories, she goes looking for them, only to find herself in the middle of an investigation of the absurd disappearance of an important woman. With her personality changing into her heart donor's, Alice navigates a mysterious world where nothing seems to make sense and yet everything is strangely connected.
