A story with a few twists and fewer cliches 

Welcome to the life of Annabeth Christopher  De Corte Leon. She is 16 turning 17 and in her senior year of high school. She is 5ft and can be confused for a 13 year old. She has thick long black hair with white(blonde) natural highlights. She is feisty and strong witted
Ann has secret that makes each day worth living. Tomboy and nerd are two words best to describe herself. 

Typical high school with your clics and outstanders. Students can sometimes be over cruel. What happens when the new, cute guy doesn't give up in befriending her. He's kind and sweet to her with no real reason other than for a friendship. She tries to keep her distance, but he manages to lower her high walls she has built. 
 Will their feelings grow into something more? Will he find out her main secret? Does he have his own secrets? Can he defend her?
