James is a brilliant but awkward guitar player in a popular local band who prefers to hide from the spotlight, content to lose himself in his playing and shying away from friendships and emotional attachments. An accidental run in with a mystery girl inspires him to reach out to her through anonymous texts. Too scared that she will be disappointed in the real him, he wants her to fall for him before she can figure out his true identity. Help from a sudden and unexpected friendship pushes him far beyond his comfort zone, but will it be too little too late?
While some of this story is fictionalized, parts of it are very real, including the character of James. Our story took a different route, but this is the ending I wish it had.
James, if you ever stumble upon this and recognize it.... thank you :)
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
