In another universe, people celebrated the return of someone long thought dead forgetting about another close friend. In yet another universe, a young man was being tortured daily by his so-called friends after saving their lives from the most evil dark wizard to ever live. And finally a man watching in sorrow making a choice to help them in their time of need.

Percy Jackson is not a good person. At least, not anymore. Percy has been through a lot. Annabeth is dead and his few remaining friends are scattered across America. Percy's been loyal and heroic his whole life, he's always done what the gods asked. And they have only ever repaid him with pain and indifference. So now it's his turn. His longing for justice is growing and the more bitter he becomes, the more it sinks in that without Annabeth, he has nothing left to fight for. But then again, there's nothing holding him back. Revenge is something that has long been above Percy. But at the end of the day, at least it's something to fight for. The gods have forgotten that loyalty goes both ways.
