DISCLAIMER: I do not own the flash or any of the flash's characters. Barry Allen and Y/N Y/L/N met in high school, not knowing their deep connection. As they begin to reveal their pasts to one another, they realize just how much they have in common, including their feelings for one another. They set out together to fully uncover the truth of their parent's murder. However, it will take more information than they have. When things already seem to be confusing enough for Barry and Y/N, they get a visitor. Will this visitor give them the answers they need? Or will they only make things harder? This story takes place before the tv show actually begins. Everyone I've seen who writes flash fanfiction tends to start the book during the actual show, but I've always thought some of those need more backstory than they are given. So I decided the first book in my fanfiction series should fully explain Y/N and Barry's history with one another. I care a lot about grammar and my writing. If you happen to catch a grammatical error or inconsistency in the story, (wrong date, wrong name, etc.), please let me know! Then, after the nine months of being in the hospital, she woke up. Then she ran. Her emotions hit, and she temporarily slowed down time in order for her to make a five mile walk in under three minutes. Call it, un-super speed if you'd like. She was confused. She had no clue how that happened, but she had to find how. Now, she was extremely smart. She did research. Then she saw many reports on the news about this man called "The Streak". She thought it was... Odd. The whole concept of superheroes and super humans. It was to unreal and childish for her. She didn't like the title 'superhero'. Until one night, the masked man, whose name has been recently changed to "The Flash", showed up on one of her missions. But ever since then her life hasn't been close to the same.
