You were a demon captured by the True Cross. They were planning on killing you, but Mifisto was able to convince them to let you live. But in return you had to serve him since he saved your life.

You were then assigned to Rin's team. You needed to fit in with the rest of them. Everyone hated you since you were a demon. Rin understood how you felt.

You weren't a regular demon. You had emotions and even wanted to be excepted by humnans. But you mostly want to be expected by Rin.
